Denmark is located to the north of Germany. Its capital city is Copenhagen.

It consists of 405 islands. The weather is, most of the time its cold....raining or snowing.... :-).

However, usually it rains a lot, through out the year.

 

Roughly the population in Denmark is 5 million. In Aalborg its around 1.5 lacs people living.

 

People here speak Danish and is their official language. However, like us, English is tought in their schools. Therefore they speak English. So no communication problem. :-)

 

 

DMZ is called for the boarder b/w S.Korea & N.Korea !

It is allowed for tourist, provided we take a guide and have our passport with us.

S.Korea & N.Korea has fought for many years because they had difference in opinion.

However the division is a BIG story. Pls check the internet for more details.:-)

 

Finally it so happened that UN & US supported S.Korea and Russia, China supported N.Korea.

More or less N.Korea is a communist country. They still hold a diff in opion.  However the people on both sides strongly wish for the unification of the two parts to make it a Single Korean Nation.

 

People here say, S.Korea always has a Open heart & their doors are open for N.Korean guys. However, N.Koreans dont allow a single S.Korean to enter their territory. And N.Korea is ruled by a single man - Kim Jong il.

 

Visited Korean Folk Village with my Austrian Friend - Stefan.

 

This place is the reproduction/replica of the "Olden Korea", which basically demonstrates how the people lived around 16th-18th century.  How are the houses constructed, The bazaar, The cooking materials, utensils, storage devices etc...

 

It is considered that the rich mans' house will have Larger and More number of storing jars.

Jars were used to store, pepper, Kimchi ( its like our Pickle ) and other edible stuffs.
